This cookie policy applies to the website dimdown.app. It explains which cookies and similar storage technologies (e.g. localStorage) we use. For the "Dimdown" app, see Part B of our Privacy Policy.

1) What are cookies and local storage?
Cookies are small text files that your browser stores on your device when you visit a website. With local storage (localStorage), a website can also store information in your browser. Both technologies access your device and are therefore subject to § 25 TDDDG (German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act).
2) In short: no cookies, no tracking
Our website sets no cookies and uses no tracking, analytics or advertising services. We do not use web fonts (the website uses your device's system fonts) and do not embed third-party content such as videos, maps or social media plugins.
The website is served via Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare's "Bot Fight Mode" and "Turnstile" features are switched off, so cookies such as __cf_bm or cf_clearance are not set.
3) The only storage entry: your choice in the notice
The website stores just one entry in your browser's local storage. It is strictly necessary to remember your choice in the storage notice and therefore does not require consent (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). To the extent personal data is processed, this is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

The entry stays in your browser and is not sent to us or third parties.
4) Your settings
You can change your choice at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer of every page. The button is shown via JavaScript; if JavaScript is disabled, neither the notice appears nor is anything stored.
You can also view and delete local storage in your browser settings. If you delete the entry, the notice will reappear on your next visit.
5) Changes
We update this cookie policy when we use new storage technologies. Before using any technology that requires consent, we would ask for your permission first.
